What is MovMor?

How do I get started?
Create an account, verify your identity and driver's license, and you're ready to start renting! If you're an owner, list your car in just 5 minutes.
Is MovMor available in my city?
MovMor operates across Sweden, Spain, and is expanding to more European countries. Search for available cars in your area to see what's nearby.
What is MovMor+?
MovMor+ is our subscription service offering 10% or 20% discounts on all rentals. Plans start at just 5 EUR per month.

How does renting a car work?
Search for cars, select your dates, and send a booking request. Once approved, meet the owner for pickup or use keyless access. Return the car and leave a review!
What is keyless access?
Keyless means you can unlock and start the car through the MovMor app without meeting the owner. It's available on vehicles with our keyless device installed.
What's included in the insurance?
Every rental includes comprehensive insurance with 24/7 roadside assistance. You can choose your deductible: standard (10,000 SEK), reduced (3,500 SEK), or zero.
How old do I need to be to rent?
You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license held for at least 1 year.
Who pays for fuel?
The renter pays for fuel during the rental. Please return the car with the same fuel level as pickup. Differences are settled automatically.
How does ridesharing work?
Drivers post their trips with available seats. Passengers search for rides, book seats, and share the cost of the journey.
Can I bring luggage?
Check the ride listing for luggage size allowances. Drivers specify small, medium, or large luggage capacity.
What if a ride is cancelled?
If the driver cancels, you get a full refund. If you cancel more than 24 hours before departure, you receive a full refund.

What's included in leasing?
Leasing includes the vehicle, comprehensive insurance, service and maintenance at authorized workshops, and 24/7 assistance. Some listings include winter tires.
Can I rent out my leased car?
Yes! You can list your MovMor leased car for rent when you're not using it, earning an average of 600 EUR per month.
What happens at the end of the lease?
Simply return the car. No hassle with selling or trading in.
How long are lease terms?
Lease terms range from 6 to 60 months depending on the listing. Choose the duration that suits your needs.

How do payments work?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. As a renter, you pay when your booking is confirmed. As an owner, you receive payouts within 24 hours of rental completion.
What fees does MovMor charge?
MovMor charges a 15% service fee on car rentals and 10% on ridesharing trips. This covers insurance, payment processing, and platform support.
When do I get paid as an owner?
Rental earnings are paid out within 24 hours of rental completion. Additional costs like fuel or excess mileage are settled within 4 business days.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds follow our cancellation policy: full refund 48+ hours before, 50% within 48 hours, no refund for no-shows.

Is my car safe with renters?
All renters are identity-verified. Every rental includes insurance, photo documentation before and after, and damage reporting through the app.
What if there's an accident?
Report it immediately through the app. Our insurance partner Omocom handles claims quickly. 24/7 roadside assistance is always available.
How are users verified?
We verify identity through BankID or by checking driver's license and national ID. All documents are reviewed before first rental.
